FINDING MY LOVE

SINCE 2001

我想成为一名摄影师的时刻I held a camera. But it was my love of music and photography that started me on my career path.
In 2001, I began my career photographing the music scene for top international music magazines, brushing shoulders with the stars.

I have owned a busy city centre photography studio where I worked with high-profile celebrity, fashion and commercial clients and design agencies.

Instead of music magazines, these days my work is now featured in wedding publications such as; Martha Stewart, Brides, Vogue, In Style, Style me pretty and many others.

I have completed 3 university degrees with distinction in Photography, Fine Art and I am also a qualified Teacher. I then taught photography in our local city college and university until capturing love stories lead me to exotic locations around the world.

I fell head over heels with wedding photography. So where else would a romantic photographer go, but to the City of Love itself… Paris!

I truly believe that when we find ourselves in the right place at the right time, incredible things can happen.
I never imagined I would meet my true love, right there in the city of love. It was in 2015 and it was just like stepping out of a romantic novel.Read our love story

In 2014, I was commissioned to document Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s visit to Paris at The British Embassy over three days – they were the three most surreal days of my life.

The most special moment was photographing The Investiture. I was in the most beautiful Parisian room with no more than 20 people. This included The Queen, Yeomen and guests. She had such an ethereal presence. It was truly a ‘I need to nip myself’ moment.
These images were then printed in magazines and newspapers and televised all over the world.

In the spring of 2013, I sold everything I had and left England with my camera and a single suitcase and headed to Paris in search of adventure. I had always dreamed of moving to France, I was borderline obsessed with it. But never thought I would.

However, when I found myself single, in my thirties, bored and craving something new, I thought to myself, if I don’t do this now, when will I? So off I went. It is the single best decision I have ever made.

Paris had been popping up on my radar for a while. Perhaps subconsciously I had been searching for it. I got my sign when I heard that an ex-student had moved to Paris for love. I immediately felt the urge to contact her and pick her brains about living there: she made it sound so easy.

I had nothing holding me back except fear of the unknown. I had nothing to lose, but it still felt like a wildly risky move. I had two choices: stay in England and forever wonder what could have been or take a leap of faith into the unknown.

In the end, I chose adventure and I’m so very pleased I did.

Moving to Paris changed my life in many ways. I’ve found a place where I feel totally at peace.

A place that has taught me everything there is to know about love, life and – above all – myself.

*Update: In 2019 we re-located back to the UK and still have an office in Paris.
